La Mindricule viene preparata utilizzando il lombo assieme a lardo e cotenna, salata con una miscela di sale e spezie e stagionata in modo naturale per 5/6 mesi. A circa 2 mesi di stagionatura, si procede con l'affumicatura utilizzando legno di faggio. Tale operazione dura 5/7 giorni e conferisce al salume una base leggera di affumicato. Una volta deconfezionato asciugare con un panno di carta assorbente, rimuovere parte della cotenna e posizionare sull'affettatrice il prodotto con il grasso verso l'alto.
